The hotel is just a few minutes outside of the town of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The rooms are so clean that you wouldn't even know if there was a dog staying in your room before your visit. The location is a bit out of Bar Harbor but still very convenient to Acadia, making it well worth the cost-saving choice.

I found the hotel to have super clean and comfortable rooms, but they were absurdly small and poorly soundproofed. The service from the staff was very friendly and cute. The location was great for accessing downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, although it was a bit away from the touristy areas. The dining experience wasn't what I was looking for, and the facilities were limited.
